Application Process

Who should apply?- Students from historically low-income/disadvantaged families that lack the experience of a college education
and who are motivated to work with a FUTURE mentor are encouraged to apply.

If you are selected to move on to Phase 2, you will be contacted by email and provided
forms you will need to complete with your family and school.

Phase 2 - Documentation and References
due April 25

            1. Current transcript
            2. Student essay ("Why is college important to me? How would I benefit from a professional mentor?
              What help do I need to reach my goal of accessing and graduating from college?")
            3. Student Extracurricular and Community Involvement List
            4. Signed Parent Agreement
            5. 2011 Tax return (to verify reported income levels)
            6. School Reference
            7. Additional Reference (optional, but recommended)
If you are selected to move on to Phase 3, you will be contacted to set up an in-person interview
for the afternoon or evening of May 23.
If selected, this will be a required appointment.
