FUTURE Student update

The FUTURE Foundation is supporting students at CSU Sacramento, CSU East Bay, UC Davis, and Whittier College. Students on these campuses have witnessed protests and heard about potential and planned tuition hikes. With this uncertainty, students have expressed great appreciation for FUTURE scholarship, which alleviates fears of how they will cope with increased fees - allowing them to confidently complete their final exams and register for next their classes.

The next class of high school graduates are now anticipating responses from their colleges of choice. Their career aspirations range from Nurse, Social Worker, Psychiatrist, and Lawyer.

Next in line are the current juniors in high school who are completing their A-G required courses and exploring college majors and career plans. Last month, this class received laptop computers - a necessary tool in preparing for college.

This spring, the FUTURE Foundation Board of Directors will review applicants and select a new class of student scholarship candidates.
